What to expect from the procedure
Transcatheter mitral valve repair (TMVr) and transcatheter tricuspid valve repair (TTVr) involve implanting a device through an incision near your groin using a flexible tube called a catheter. The device is used to repair your leaking mitral or tricuspid heart valve.1
Before the procedure
Your interventional cardiologist will give you instructions on preparing for the procedure. This may include instructions to stop or start taking certain medications.
